National Survey on Medicare, Medicaid and Trans Health

Overview:
A team of trans and cisgender researchers at Brown University wants to hear from trans people about their experiences navigating Medicare and Medicaid and the healthcare system. Findings from this needs assessment study will be used to educate policymakers, healthcare workers, and the broader community about the health needs and concerns of the trans community and advocate for legal protections and better access to care with the goal of improving the health and well-being of trans people in the U.S.
