Partnering to Intervene on Cannabis and Tobacco Use Reduction (PICTURe) Collaborative Research Study
Overview:
Guided by the PICTURe collaborative, we are conducting formative research on the experiences of marginalized pregnant and recently postpartum people who use(d) cannabis and tobacco during pregnancy, to contextualize the role of depressive symptoms in prenatal dual use.
For Aim 1 of the project, we are seeking to interview pregnant people who are experiencing depressive symptoms and use (or have recently quit) using cannabis and tobacco to tell us about their experiences. We are interested in learning more about the relationship among depressive symptoms and tobacco and cannabis use, quit attempts, withdrawal, and relapse so that the PICTURe collaborative can develop an intervention.
