Social Inequities and Mental Health Care for Bisexual People
Overview:
This dissertation research study seeks the perspectives of mental health care providers to understand how factors within and outside of the mental health care system may impact service utilization and disproportionately high unmet need for mental health care among bisexual+ (bi+; including those identifying as pansexual, queer, or attracted to multiple genders) people. The study PI is Corinne Zachry, a PhD candidate at the University of Southern California Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work.
Eligible participants may be invited to share their insights in a focus group discussion and receive $50 compensation. Your input will support efforts to close the health gap and promote equal opportunity and justice for bi+ people.
