Assessing Effects of Resource Guide on Sentiments Among Healthcare Providers on Firearm Safety
Overview:
The purpose of this research study is to characterize the current nationwide sentiments among all healthcare providers about firearm safety discussions with patients. Brady: United Against Gun Violence has created a resource guide to target healthcare providers' challenges in discussing this issue with their patients. If you agree to participate in this study, you will be asked to complete an online survey/questionnaire. You will be asked to answer demographic questions and questions about firearm safety discussions in healthcare. You will also be asked to review sections of the resource guide, after which you will be asked to provide feedback, answer additional questions, and share recommendations for the guide.
