Study Opportunity: Contraceptive Counseling for Transgender and Gender Diverse Patients: Knowledge and Experience Among Gynecologic Healthcare Providers

Overview
The study aims to identify knowledge gaps and practice behaviors among healthcare providers regarding contraceptive counseling for transgender and gender-diverse (TGD) patients. By understanding challenges related to contraceptive counseling for TGD patients, we hope to identify opportunities to improve education for providers and promote health equity for gender diverse patients.

The online survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and consists of 20 Likert scale multiple-choice questions, along with a brief demographic section. It is open to any licensed U.S. healthcare professional with experience providing contraceptive counseling, regardless of prior experience working with TGD patients. We hope to collect responses from a broad range of geographic and clinical practice settings. There is no compensation for taking part in this survey. All responses are anonymous.

The survey is being conducted through the Yale School of Medicine.
