As the leading lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) health advocacy organization in North America, GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LBGTQ Equality works to ensure that LGBTQ patients are treated competently and with respect in the healthcare system. GLMA also fights discrimination against LGBTQ healthcare professionals, while providing them with a community for networking and mutual support.
