Annual Conference & Nursing Summit Agenda-at-a-Glance now available!

The GLMA Annual Conference on LGBTQ Health - the premier scientific conference on LGBTQ health - features innovative healthcare breakthroughs and interventions, as well as the latest research from LGBTQ health experts from across the country. The conference is open to healthcare providers of all disciplines, researchers, academics, health administrators, policy experts, advocates, and all LGBTQ health supporters.

GLMA Moves 38th Annual Conference to a Virtual Platform:

Based on our monitoring of continued developments related to the current worldwide coronavirus pandemic and our concerns about the inability for all of us to travel and meet safely, GLMA has decided to move the 2020 GLMA Annual Conference on LGBTQ Health to a virtual platform.

While we will not have the opportunity to meet in-person this year, we are excited about the opportunity to present GLMA’s first-ever virtual Annual Conference. To that end, the GLMA Education Committee is working diligently to ensure the content presented continues to be of the highest scientific quality. With the exception of the change in platform, GLMA intends to maintain a similar schedule to our in-person Annual Conferences, starting with the GLMA Annual Nursing Summit on Wed, Sept 23, followed by the Annual Conference on LGBTQ Health from Thurs Sept 24 through Sat Sept 26. 

Attendees can expect the same dynamic and diverse plenary, workshop, and research presentations, as well as opportunities for LGBTQ health professionals to network, connect and build community virtually. 

Annual Conference Theme:

Developing LGBTQ Health Leadership: Strategies to Strengthen Ability and Influence in LGBTQ Healthcare, Health Education, and Health Policy

This year's conference theme, Developing LGBTQ Health Leadership, will focus on strategies to strengthen the ability and influence of leaders to improve outcomes in LGBTQ healthcare, health education, and policy making at every opportunity. 

Dates: 

Wednesday, Sept. 23: Pre-Conference 8th GLMA Annual Nursing Summit
Thursday-Saturday, Sept. 24-26: GLMA Annual Conference on LGBTQ Health

Continuing education credits, including CME, nursing CE, and behavioral health CE, will be available.

2020 Annual Conference Plenary Sessions Include:
