Call for Abstracts
The abstract portal for GLMA's 41st Annual Conference on LGBTQ+ Health is now open!
The GLMA Education Committee invites you to submit abstracts pertinent to the field of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and Two-Spirit (LGBTQIA2S+) health for presentation at the 41st Annual Conference.
GLMA is calling for two types of abstract submissions:
~ Workshop Sessions: Interactive sessions with multidisciplinary attendees, developed to allow for an in-depth presentation and discussion of a topic.
~ Research Poster Sessions. The presentation of original research, including sections on background, methods, results and discussion.
Abstracts describing original research and workshops on the experiences of LGBTQIA2S+ patients, healthcare professionals, and health professional students and trainees will be considered.
The abstract submission portal for the 41st Annual Conference is now closed.
Thank you to all who have submitted abstracts.
Power In Every Voice: Rising Up for LGBTQ+ Health Equity
This year’s conference theme, Power In Every Voice: Rising Up for LGBTQ+ Health Equity, is both a call to action and signal of hope for your community’s future. Now is the time to rise up for LGBTQ+ health equity and now is the time to reach as many health professionals as possible as we unite in our shared mission. It is this reality that led GLMA to transition the Annual Conference to a virtual platform this year so that we may increase accessibility and promote inclusion.
