Wednesday, September 22: 9th GLMA Annual Nursing Summit
Thursday-Saturday, September 23-25: 39th GLMA Annual Conference on LGBTQ Health
This year's conference theme, Closing the Gaps, will focus on strategies to reduce and eliminate LGBTQ health inequities through expanding access to care, and developing leadership of LGBTQ community members and professionals who belong to multiple minority groups. In this era of global pandemics and political change the disparities within the LGBTQ community have been further magnified. This year GLMA aims to highlight speakers (including community leaders, researchers, policy makers, and clinicians) who are working to identify, assess, address, and close these gaps.
At this time, we are moving forward with planning for the 39th GLMA Annual Conference on LGBTQ Health scheduled for September 22-25, 2021 in Fort Lauderdale, FL and opening our call for abstracts to ensure the content presented at the conference continues to be of the the highest scientific quality.
The health and safety of our community will be our primary consideration as we continue to plan for the GLMA Annual Conference. We will continue to actively monitor developments to determine whether any changes to conference programming are necessary, and we'll be sure to communicate any potential changes as soon as we can.
